Introduction	Thanks to a herniated disc caused by my pregnancy, I’ve endured 2 back surgeries in the last 5 years. I am about to embark on a third While recovering, I discovered the wonderful world of blogging. Loving to write, I decided to give my own blog a go, and Mommy Learns to Blog was born! I’m Mommy to The Mad Hatter (MH), age 8. Mommy-goggles on, she’s one of the most charismatic, charming, loving, and gorgeous kids I've ever known, with a personality 100 times bigger than she is and a heart made of gold. I’ve been married for 11 years to the most supportive, caring, and loving man I could have ever wished for. My Mom and I own a small custom embroidery business called Stitch Me This. Although we've slowed down a bit this past year due to family illnesses, we make custom embroidered clothing, gifts, and accessories for hip kids and equally hip grown-ups. We are going to be working on creating an Etsy store, and in the meantime you can check out Stitch Me This on Facebook to see some of our unique creations! I’ve got a passion for communication and meeting new people. Life around here is never boring, and I hope my blog will bring a smile to those who read about our adventures!
