| Introduction | Scarlet is my alter ego (see more on 'Gone with the Wind' elsewhere on the blog). My children...Vivian 19 and Wesley 17 are the most important part of my life. The three of us live in Baltimore, MD in a cozy, sunny apartment. My mom Eileen and my sister Laurie are strong, creative, resourceful women and I am blessed to be in their company. This blog is somewhat of a joint venture for us. A way to stay in touch and share our interests, ideas and successes. Mom (Eileen) is an artist and has a studio she has named 'The Paintbox' in rural Pennsylvania. She is also mother to four tax-paying citizens and Grandma to eight. Mom and Dad taught us to try any project we wanted to make. Their can-do attitude really shaped our lives. Laurie is a mother of two, Christopher 27 and Samantha 24 and is the original diy-er. There is nothing that girl can't do! She is currently in transition from Virginia to Pennsylvania. Soon we will all live closer to each other than we have in 20+ years!! We are thrilled to be blogging and sharing our lives with you in this little corner of the world called 'The Scarlet Petticoat' |
