| Introduction | The Breakthrough Breast Cancer Somerset Group was set up by Christine and John Piper in 1997. Breakthrough Breast Cancer is dedicated to transforming and saving lives through finding the causes of breast cancer and improving detection, diagnosis, treatment and services. They believe passionately this disease can be beaten. There are over 40 Breakthrough Breast Cancer Groups who organise events, raise awareness and serve as the local face of the charity in their communities. The Somerset Group brings local people together for a common passion – to support Breakthrough Breast Cancer in achieving their vision of future free from breast cancer. |
