About Me

I got my first two Shetland sheep in 2001. I now have a small flock of registered Bluefaced Leicesters and Shetlands. For years, I painted in oil, watercolor, and pastel. But when I got into raising poultry, I started using eggs as my canvas for wax-resist eggs. Now that I've got sheep, fiber has become my medium of choice. I am very excited about using the wool from my flock for felted paintings, needlefelted sculptures, and wearable fiber art. In addition to felting, I also love to spin, knit and garden.
