About me

Location Osceola Plateau, WA, United States
Introduction I have fond memories of planting peas as a child. Unfortunately, that's usually all we did--Dad would rototill the dickens out of a corner of our yard in Federal Way, Kirkland and then Enumclaw, then we would all plant some seeds. And that's all the further it got, since no one liked to weed. When I married a farmer's son, I hit the jackpot and I watched my in-laws to learn how to grow veggies in Hiroshima. Then I moved with my family to the Pacific NW--and I had to learn to garden all over again (different weather here!). Come join our Japanese-and-American family as we garden, preserve the harvest and raise our family.
