| Introduction | Stand for the Congo is a non profit organization based in Washington, DC. It was established in 2012 by Congolese with the mission to: 1. Raise awareness on the issue in the DRC, particularly the human right abuses; 2. Build a robust network and provide a platform for the Congolese diaspora in the US; 3. Mentor Congolese high school and university students to stay in school and graduate; 4. Build infrastructures to meet the United Nation 2015 millennium challenge. |
