| Introduction | I'm a self taught sew-a-holic. I'm kind of making it all up as I go along: I tend to sew "on the fly" and get inspiration from all over the place. It's a challenge (w/3 crazy awesome kids and a job I work from home), but I squeeze in creative time wherever I can. "Skooks" is a nickname I got when I was working in the kitchen at a camp on the Yukon River. An Athabascan native that worked there told me that it means "little child." Though I was about 25 at the time, I took it as a compliment. :) |
