| Introduction | Rev. Stephanie Butler Adams is an ordained Itinerant Elder in the 5th Episcopal District (CA) African Methodist Episcopal Church. She holds undergraduate degrees in Journalism (B.S.) and Dance (B.A.) from the University of Maryland, post graduate (M.A.Th.) in Theology from the United Theological College of the West Indies. Prior to her transition from professional dance performance and corporate consulting with MCI Communications for Fortune 500 companies, to full-time ministry 11 years ago, Stephanie sat under the tutelage of some of the best choreographers, dancers, movement analysts, and institutions across the Nations including the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance (NYC), Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre (NYC), Kei Ta-kei and; Moving Earth (Japan), and more. Stephanie continues to serve world-wide as the Founder & Director of Spirit of Praise Sacred Artistry, Intl. She has written 2 published books and is very happily married to Mr.Stephen Adams, President & CEO of The Long Beach Unity Festival. |
