About Me

We are the western branch of Land Ark, producing and selling the wonderful products developed fourteen years ago in South Carolina. They were originally formulated for the unique needs of timber framing, but have found a home with all types of woodworkers -- everything from log homes to fine furniture. Our products are completely non-toxic, biodegradable, and sustainable. We use absolutely NO driers of any kind. That means that our products take longer to dry, but they get more penetration in doing so, and avoid problems with wrinkling due to uneven drying. The leading 'green' producers of various similar products still use heavy-metal drying agents. They advertise these as 'lead-free' or 'non-caustic' (lead is illegal anyway), yet many of these compounds are still highly toxic. Land Ark is committed to keeping our products safe for those who work with them and especially for those who live with them in their home. We sincerely look forward to working with you.
