| Introduction | I have been into wine about 20 years. People often ask me why are you so into wine? Well because I like it, better yet I have a passion for it and anything someone has a passion for they want to gain more knowledge of, they want to experience. The truth of wine is, it's not as complicated as some people think and you can get a good wine without spending a fortune, which is why I write this blog, so other wine connoisseur's like me can read about my experience. Wine is an art form, from the vine through the fermentation, ageing, bottling and finally into the glass. It takes years and several hits and misses to learn the art of wine making, some have it, some don't. Some wine gets better with age, like some people and some wine is best drunk young and wont stand up to years in the back of a wine cellar. I swirl, I sniff, I taste, I write and I am thirsty for more. |
