Introduction	I am about to be a new mommy. I have been a Christian for most of my life. However, it has only been the last five years or so that I have been in real relationship with Father. I grew up in a rather rigid and legalistic church where basically once you were saved, you read the Bible, prayed, and went to church more out of obligation then anything. Now as I look back, it seems that the main focus was to get people saved and then it was up to them to be good. I read the Bible as stories and many times just didn't understand what I was reading, so it wasn't interesting to me. Prayer is what you did when you ate, got sick, or everything in the world was crushing down around you, and going to church was so you could tithe to the pastor. At least that was what my daddy told me. Now, I have a great church home, and I am growing everyday in my relationship. I am blessed and thankful each day for everything He does for me.
