About Me
Established in 1991, the San Buenaventura Artists' Union is a multi-disciplinary & dynamic arts organization, comprised of artists, poets, musicians, writers, performers and creative individuals of all kinds. The Union is an inclusive organization seeking to promote the interests of its' members by encouraging individuals creativity and public appreciation of contemporary art. The Union promotes its members, sponsors cultural events and advocates for city and county support of local art, culture and artists.
AU Membership is $60 per year,due in June each year. The benefits of being a member include showing your work in the Artists' Union Gallery, the interaction with local artists, and having a voice on how art is developed in the our community. We are a non-profit with an all volunteer staff. Without your help volunteering, we cannot continue to maintain this great gallery. It's up to all of us.
