About Me

Born in 1970 and raised in Newark, NJ until age 21 when I moved to Tampa, FL to go to USF for Art Education. Previously I went to Montclair State University for Fine Art. It was there that I met my wife Trina Messano. We have been together since 1989 and got married in 2005.

I have done many different jobs to keep it interesting, but have also worked for the same organization at USF since 1994. Started there doing graphic design, part time and am now an Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications.

My wife, who has many years of retail and management experience started a dog cookie and baking business with me in 2007, called Doggie Cakes. In May, 2008, we opened a dog bakery and boutique in historic downtown New Port Richey, FL. We have a lot of great products, including many hand-made toys, dog beds, bandannas and things that the big stores don't have. We have an extensive product website and sell and wholesale too.

We have six cats, three dogs, and one bird. Out pets were the inspirations for Doggie Cakes.
