| Introduction | A lot of people are disillusioned with religion these days. Their first reaction is often to throw the rubber duck and the loofah out with the baby and bathwater, which is what I did in the late seventies. Some thirty or more years later, I’ve found the peace, love and joy I longed for and I found it outside of organised religion. Yet I value my religious heritage which still has a profound influence on me. On this site I try to share something of what I experience, in two books: The God I Left Behind and Sweet and Bitter Waters. |
