| Introduction | I am a futurist, writer, researcher, and consultant with 15 years’ experience in global consumer insights. Most recently I served as a futurist with Washington, DC-based consultancy Social Technologies where I led projects exploring new media challenges for a major Spanish language television broadcaster; directed projects for a leading American toy and game companies on emerging generational trends and their impact on gaming and entertainment that will shape their product needs and design for the next decade. Additionally, I’ve helped global 100 companies such as Honda, International Hotel Group, Nokia, and BP to identify the impact of evolving consumer needs and new technologies. Previous gigs include directing a team of public policy and geopolitical analysts in analyzing and explicating consumer, government, and social organizations’ behavior and advising the company’s Fortune 100 clients on how best to take advantage of these shifting social dynamics; and as consumer and social behavior analyst where I studied, wrote, and presented on how consumers and social groups impacted the development of corporate and public policy. |
