| Introduction | I serve as the Operations Bureau Commander with the University of South Carolina Division of Law Enforcement & Safety. I was selected this year to attend the FBI National Academy (known as the NA) which is "a professional course of study for U.S. and international law enforcement leaders that serves to improve the administration of justice in police departments and agencies at home and abroad and to raise law enforcement standards, knowledge, and cooperation worldwide." Over the next three months I will be studying, training, and networking with law enforcement leaders from all 50 states and dozens of countries from around the world. |
