About Me

I am the product of two parents who attended arts colleges. My father became an architect and my mother studies fashion design. A modern design aesthetic surrounded me growing up with furniture by Ray and Charles Eames, George Nelson and a host of other mid-century designers. My mother had a wonderful modern collection of jewelry including designs from Betty Cooke, my favorite. This led me to attend school for art and I received a BFA in photography. I now design jewelry that is available through SES Design Jewelry. I am also a practicing psychotherapist and do web and graphic design.

The first time you had your shoes taken off - how surprised were you to see that you still had toes?

I can't say that I remember but I was probably so surprised that I immediately put them in my mouth. Little kids will do that sort of thing! They gum there way through the world.
