Blog of a twenty something, teacher in the North of England. When I stop wondering if I will survive my first year of teaching I cook, go climbing, knit (lots), and spend far too much time volunteering! I've been a member of my university climbing club since my first year as an undergraduate, and am still involved in everything that goes on with the club.I run a Rainbow unit (youngest age group in Girlguiding)I also love horse riding, and knit (a bit... well maybe more than a bit....) Why the view from the hill? Both my home with my parents and at university are on top of a hill, I also rock climb, it seemed appropriate!

The first time you had your shoes taken off - how surprised were you to see that you still had toes?

I think this at the end of every climbing session!
