Introduction I am a mechanical engineer by profession who became captivated by the history and mystery of Ancient Egypt. When I retired in 2000, I devoted my time to pursuing my love of Egyptology, travelling to Egypt on several occasions and leading groups when the opportunity arose. In 2010 I decided to place some of my writing on my own blog, Tales of Ancient Egypt. I am the author of several books, among which are: "Tutankhamun-Speak my Name" "Pharaoh Ay Remembers" "The Osiris Enigma" "No Time at All" "Suitable Vengeance" plus children's books including: "The Cat's Princess" "The Pharaoh's Horse" "The Cat that flew over the Pyramids" "The Cat that rode a Camel" eBook and IPhone apps "Ancient Egypt in an Hour" and "South Africa in an Hour" published by HarperCollins - available from Amazon.com Information on the books from tonyholmes@mweb.co.za
