Introduction | My experience with Art began when I was a child. My Mother was an elegant and accomplished seamstress as well as a wonderful china painter and expected me to do everything perfectly. Of course I rebelled, but that was then. My interests were in Creative Art, painting and working with my hands at anything but sewing. But now, I decided that whenever you are creating whether it is a painting, a sculpture or making something from a fabric it becomes a major focus of my life. By using my Mothers old Elna, passed down to me, I have been able to integrate the lessons my mother taught me and apply them to all forms of my creativity. |

Your people want to make a statue in your honor. What will it be made out of and what victory will it commemorate?
A statue in my honor would have to be made of many materials. Stone to represent my strong inner structure and then a mosaic of colored glass, fabric, beads, words, piano keys and pottery to show the many ways I expressed myself in life. It would have to commemorate my victory in this life over solitude, rejection and self imposed exile from society.
