About Me

Timothy M. Kelly has been editor of The Beaumont Enterprise since October 1996. Previously, he was assistant managing editor for news operations and sports at the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. Before that, he worked at the San Antonio Light, Dallas Morning News, Los Angeles Daily News, Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel, USA Today and Washington Post. He is president of the Freedom of Information Foundation of Texas and president of the board of directors of Court-Appointed Special Advocates of Southeast Texas. He lives in Jasper County, near Mauriceville.
