| Introduction | If I could describe myself in one word I would say "thankful". Thankful for God’s amazing grace, my family, thankful for an opportunity to do what I love everyday and thankful for life experiences that help me to grow, learn and appreciate the life I have. I am the wife of a wonderful husband, sister of three beautiful women, daughter of very loving parents and sister-friend to some very amazing people. My work is my passion and my passion is my work. I play the tenor pan. I started playing in ’97 at the church where I grew up. Somehow along the way, I was named the “Princess of Pan” and released a couple albums of instrumental covers. These days I play with my jazz trio, jazz quartet and larger musical project. I’m also writing and arranging new music for my ensembles. In addition to performing and writing I work as a steel pan instructor at a couple schools in Toronto. With that said, you can expect me to write about spirituality, music, other arts and culture, love, family, travelling, current events, interesting bits of information I find, health and wellness... anything that matters to me and might just matter to you. |
