Introduction I am an anthropological archaeologist and (associate) professor of anthropology (at ASU's School of Human Evolution and Social Change). As an archaeologist, I have focused my research mainly on Mesoamerica, particularly the Maya Lowlands and central Mexico. I am an environmental anthropologist-archaeologist with a tool kit constructed from economic and political anthropology.
