| Introduction | I am a former recipient of the N.C. Writer's Award and was one of the National Council of Teacher's of English Top 100 students. (First of the Top 7 from my state). I graduated sixth out of a class of 2400 w/ a 4.2 GPA. I sat assistant concert master for both my high school, all-county, and all-state youth orchestras and I played in the 1st violin sections of my community and college symphonies, and with the Wilmington Academy of Music String Ensemble. I attended NC Governor's School for Modern Dance and have danced with ADF, NCDF, Fusion Theater, Wilmington Civic Ballet, Fascinating Rhythm, and the UNC-G Senior Dance Company. So, I once showed a lot of promise and then as you can see, my life took a significant detour. This is just a place where I come to revisit my lost love of writing, ruminate, and reminisce-by practicing this old craft I seek to conjure up phantasmal memories and exorcise dark demons.
