Introduction | I write poetry, essays and short stories and occasionally try my hand at novellas. I have published in print and two volumes of selected poetry and some collected essays and stories. I was struck by short Japanese genres, such as haibun, haiku and haiga a few years ago, and gradually they have taken over my writing. The emphasis on observation and input from the senses without embellishment contributes to my spiritual growth as a poet and seeker I live in Beaverton, Oregon with my beautiful wife of Finnish descent, Joyce. Most of all, we enjoy just breathing and being! |
