Introduction I'm just a girl from the Bronx who is seeking new challenges and opportunities and I am often asked "So where are you gonna go?" I reply with "There are 49 other states and 6 other continents! The possibilities are endless!" I am the proud mother of 1 son who is the love of my life and has begun his world travels at 21. So now it's my turn and long overdue. I am on a mission to see and improve the world. What is my part? Well we all have something to give back. As an Educator I have taught in NYC public Schools, several colleges, worked in Multicultural Affairs, and coordinated an after school program for Somali students. In addition to that, I have also worked as an Educ. Consultant for SMART Technologies and recently received my certificates to Teach English to Speakers of other languages from the American TESOL Institute. My background and lust for world travel is taking me to Africa, a place I have longed for since I was 9 years old. For one academic year beginning this September, I will be in Ghana serving as a volunteer Education Advisor. Here is where I will share my story with you. Peace and blessings.
