| Introduction | Aloha! I'm Dena and this is my tenth, and last, semester at UHWO. I'm currently taking my practicum, SSCI 490. I'm completing my Bachelors in ECE after receiving my Associates in ECE at HCC in 2009. I've previously worked as a substitute at Kamehameha Preschool-Kapalama and two semesters at LCC Children's Center. I'm in my 5th year with HCAP Head Start..and I'm learning a lot. I also work at Halekulani, as a telephone operator for 28 years. My goal is to be a full-time preschool teacher. My husband (of 25 years) and I have four beautiful children...Chelsie (27), Nicole (25), Dayna (23) and Micah (14). My oldest daughter, Chelsie, got married in Dec 2012, she and my son-in-law, Robbie Miller are expecting my first grandchild next January! My plate is full, but so is my heart. So much to be thankful for. Looking forward to a great semester. |
