| Introduction | Ours is not a box of chocolate-like existence but rather it is akin to a bag of apples - and a mixed bag at that. That's us. The Manzanafam. Some events are delicious, juicy, so sweet, and ravishingly red. Other happenings are tasty yet tangy and tart, a get-a-grip green and maybe even sour. Then there's the mush. The gush. The mellow yellow and even a bruise or a worm or two. You never know which seed will develop into which type. Have to have plenty of sun but allow sufficient rain. Keep the weeds at bay and fertilize. Still, you never quite know until you clean off the dirt, polish the surface, and take a bite. You're invited then to share a slice of our life. A little of this, a little of that. Apple style. |
