Introduction	I'm a housewife. I don't try to church it up. I mostly do what I want, and usually that is take care of the people I love. I got to marry the sweetest, smartest, most fun guy ever! He's top priority. Muah! to my Lee and his amazing ability to remain pretty darn perfect in my eyes after all these years. We treat our dogs like the children we never had. They are beyond rotten. I suck in social settings. If I can stick my foot in my mouth, I will. I have no idea what the hell I'm doing on facebook. I keep myself busy every week doing housewife stuff, cooking, keeping the house, yard work, gardening, sewing, painting, and I exercise by spinning, running at the track, and I like yoga sometimes, too. I may be a terrible bore to some. I don't mind saying that looking peas on the front porch swing or digging holes for a fence are the highlights of some days. Sometimes, the only thing I have to blog about is what I'm cooking for dinner. That's a good day.
Interests	I like growing things in the garden and yard, painting dogs, cooking, sewing, jogging and doing things my way. I think it's important to have some hobbies you share with your spouse. He hikes with me and I play Xbox with him :)
Favorite Movies	Rear Window, An Affair to Remember, Sleepless in Seattle, Fried Green Tomatoes, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Junebug, Steel Magnolia's, You've Got Mail, Kill Bill 1&2, The Mexican, Indiscreet, Big Trouble in Little China, Tombstone, The Burbs, Great Outdoors, Lone Star State of Mind, Quigley Down Under, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, The Big Sleep, Now and Then, Roman Holiday, Forrest Gump, 50 First Dates, Footloose, It's a Wonderful Life, Christmas Vacation, Cast Away, Amelie, The African Queen, The Seven Year Itch, Horror Films...especially zombie movies. A good scream is just as important as a good cry or a good laugh.
Favorite Music	Southern rock, I like the sound of the guitar. I find myself listening to a lot of country because the other radio stations suck here. Love Led and CCR!
Favorite Books	The Great Gatsby, I just see it as I read. I swear you can smell the grass in the air. I see the beauty and the ugliness. I feel the love and the pain. I didn't see the movie for years after I read it, so my take on it was never ruined by what someone else thought. Although, I was able to appreciate how closely the movie mirrored the book. I cried at the end of Old Man and the Sea. I dig Shakespeare. I find Candace Bushnell scandalous....a little filth never hurt a girl! Unless, of course, she buys into that being a way to live your life. That's a one way street to lonely town. My favorite childhood books were The Runaway Bunny, Curious George and Harry the Dirty Dog. My favorite subscription is to Southern Living. I love stealing their good ideas. I've read the bible and I learned from it, but I think my mom-maw taught me to be a good person by telling me what she got from it and living right....just as she did with everyone who was lucky enough to know her.
