| Introduction | My interest in wild orchids began when I was a child living in the Far East, and it has developed into a life-long passion. Throughout my travels across Europe and much of North and South America, the Middle East and up into the Arctic Circle, the study of wildflowers, and in particular wild orchids, has been a central feature of my agenda. I frequently contribute to countryside magazines, radio and TV programmes. In between orchid forays I divide my time between my homes in the Algarve and in West Wales. I have published nine books to date. |
