About me

Gender Female

Introduction I am back in school for Nursing. It is my dream to become a labor and delivery nurse, eventually seeking a Master's in Midwifery (say that 5x fast). When my husband misbehaves, I threaten to become a urologist.

I love to travel. We've been to England and hope to return one day. My 5-year-old already has plans to visit Washington State, St. Croix (our home away from home), Disneyworld (again), and France, all in the next few years.

I value family time more than almost anything else. I LOVE spending time with my husband, daughter, and evil genius/dog. They are my world.

I also love napping, because I get up too early and go to bed too late. Such is the life of a mom, so I've come to realize.

I have had a lot of terrible things happen in my life, and a lot of amazing nobody-has-it-this-good things...I've learned to take it all in stride.

I am blessed!
Interests Washing hands, not using sanitizer.
Hoarding home decor magazines, then handing them over for collages after I've utilized 0 of the ideas.
Dental care. Just my own, not anyone else's.
Saying "helminthic infection" and watching my husband cry like a girl.
Planning future vacations.
Daydreaming with my husband in our collective mind, where I threaten him with cruel and unusual punishment if he tries inception.
Playing Candy Crush, the cruelest game ever invented.
Favorite Movies P.S. I Love You, Brave, Meet the Robinsons, Ratatouille, War of the Buttons, The Chronicles of Narnia, Peter Pan (the Jeremy Sumpter version), Hunger Games (can't wait for November!), Inception (in case you didn't catch it earlier), Batman (Christian Bale versions ONLY), The Help, Zombieland, and a whole lot more!
Favorite Music Just about anything but metal and screamer stuff, but even that I'll be flexible on.
Favorite Books Bible, Peter Pan, Left to Tell, just about anything by Jane Austen or the Brontes, Hunger Games series, Divergent series, and the occasional smut book. Hey, I'm a housewife...just not a desperate one.

Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?

Yes. Medieval Times has to be proof of that. I've been there once, never to return, because I insisted on utensils. Some kind of spoon was provided but I requested a fork, knife, real spoon, and napkins. There is a reason the mortality rate was so high in those days, and I'll be damned if I'm dying from a staph infection because everyone was too handsy.
