About Me

I'm Mandy, mom to a 4 year old computer whiz and wife to, quite possibly, the world's most patient man. I live in the Mississippi Delta, also known as the Mosquito Capitol of the World. Yes, I chased the mosquito trucks growing up, which may explain much. I have a degree in Political Science and I am a former teacher and librarian. I now work in a Christian bookstore. I started Mommy Cracked in October 2007 as a creative outlet while being a stay at home mom. I had no idea what I was doing but have quickly learned that blogging is a great way to connect with like-minded others, offers me an opportunity to write (which I love doing), and also serves as an online diary of sorts about my life, memories, and experiences.
