I have been involved in Lyme disease advocacy since 2001, when Lyme disease first interrupted a 25-year career in the arts. Transitioning to the library field, I obtained a masters in library and information science, with coursework in consumer health, management, information organization, collection development, and digital libraries. I received certification in consumer health information from the Medical Library Association in 2009.
