| Favorite Movies | In March 2020 Charlie was appointed Key Make-Up Artist on the 8 episode TV series REYKA. Due to Coronavirus this production is on hold until further notice. Early in 2018 Charlie was leads artist on LOVE ON SAFARI from the HALLMARK CHANNEL which features Lacey Chabert, Brittany Bristow, Jon Cor and many notable South African cast. At the end of 2018 Charlie was appointed Back Ground supervisor on LAST DAYS OF AMERICAN CRIME, for the Cape Town leg of the movie. Charlie was Leads Make-up artist on RED SEA DIVING RESORT in 2017. Neill Blomkamp directed 4 short films in SA - 2016 - for his company Oats Studios. Charlie was HOD for these. In winter 2015 Charlie was appointed HOD on the South Africa comedy THE CHEMO CLUB, 2013/14 saw her appointed key make-up artist to super talented HOD Sarah Rubano on the Neill Blomkamp movie CHAPPIE, Early in 2012 PRETVILLE was filmed in true musical genre, and I headed up the make-up department for this 50's styled - large cast musical, In 2010, Charlie's title was HOD on the very successful Afrikaans musical LIEFLING - THE MOVIE, which was released in November 2010, In 2008 she worked as 1st assistant make-up artist on her first major feature film - Acadamy Award nominated DISTRICT 9 |
