Occupation President, CEO

Introduction I was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1947 and attended college at Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh where I received a B.S. degree in Chemistry in 1969. I obtained a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Northwestern University at Evanston, Illinois in 1974 and went to work with Borg-Warner in Chicago. After four years as a research chemist, I moved to New Jersey as Manager of Product Development for Apollo Technologies. Apollo sold specialty chemical additives to utilities, mines and steel companies to improve plant production or comply with environmental regulation. In 1981, I began a consulting practice that specialized in dust control from material handling operations and worked for numerous industrial and mining clients preparing permits, audits, and control plans. I founded the National Environmental Service Co. (NESCO) in 1989 where I’m currently employed as President and CEO. NESCO designs and manufactures wet suppression systems for mining and material handling. Projects to control pollution and improve air quality in the industrialized world have taken me to over 1500 quarries, mines and power plants in the U.S. and overseas.
