About Me
... has been honored with the Horror Writers Association's Bram Stoker Award (2004) for editing HELLNOTES, a weekly newsletters for writers of dark fiction. She also edited the electronic anthology STONES. Additional non-fiction work finds essays in the HWA's ON WRITING HORROR (Writers Digest) and PERSONAL DEMONS (Lone Wolf Publications), and interviews for Mystery Scene magazine, Subterranean Press, Dark Fluidity, Hellnotes, and several online venues. But Rohrig is also a respected writer with stories appearing in MASQUES V, PANDORA'S CLOSET, FURRY FANTASTIC, DREAMING OF ANGELS, EXTREMES V, and CEMETERY DANCE magazine. Upcoming is "Falls the Shadow," set to appear in CITY FANTASTIC, due in 2009 from Daw Books. Rohrig writes from tornado vulnerable, flood-prone, and earthquake shaken Southern Indiana. She is still on her first husband with two beautiful and talented daughters and one very active grandson.
