| Introduction | Jeremiah Meyers was born and raised on the south side of Chicago. As a freshman attending Gary Comer College Prep he joined a club in school called Free Spirit Media. From there his journalism career began, but before that Jeremiah was an inspired author winning an award for his story, “tears of a child.” Last year Jeremiah attended Eastern University’s journalism course for young writers where he meet Cheryl Burton, a journalist for ABC 7 Chicago. Also this year his Public Service Announcement for teen violence was entered into the After School Matters PSA contest and came in second, only behind Redo, a PSA about recycling, which he also worked on. In addition, Jeremiah is a singer. He started in church now he is apart of a group named LetEmKno, which invites young teens to get heard, and express themselves while using their talents. |
