Introduction | I am a free-spirited woman who is 'joyously becoming.' I am married to my husband of eight and a half years, and mother to two amazing little girls, Megan, age 7, and Sadie, age 6. I am blessed to do what I love everyday - I stay home and teach my daughters. I am a very open-minded, compassionate, and free-thinking person. My spirituality is a large part of my being, and recently I have allowed it to radiate to most aspects of my life. I celebrate the differences in people, our unique gifts, and our many paths. I am an Empath, and it is a gift I embrace and want to learn more about. I am also studying about our psychic abilities and how I might learn from tuning into them. I enjoy learning about myself and others, and this, with my love of writing, has prompted me to write candidly about my life with OCD. |
Interests | My Family, Reading, Writing, Drawing, Music, Live Theater, Spirituality, Wicca, Divination, Chakra Healing, Meditation, Yoga, and Making Connections with Others. |
Favorite Movies | I love Juno, the Pursuit of Happyness, Overboard, Erin Brokovich, Death Becomes Her, Cruel Intentions, Sherrybaby, Burlesque and so many others. |
Favorite Music | I love the music of Wicked, and I believe that Stephen Schwartz is a musical and lyrical prodigy. Although I appreciate and love so many kinds of music, my favorites are Marcie Dodd, Idina Menzel, Christina Aguilera, and Tori Amos. |
Favorite Books | Like Stephen Schwartz, I believe Gregory Maguire, the imagination behind the Wicked books, is a literary genius. Although Wicked is my favorite novel, I also love the other two books in the series, Son of A Witch, and A Lion Among Men. Rumor has it that a fourth book in is the works! I mostly enjoy non-fiction books, with spirituality and education being two of my very favorite subjects. |
