About Me

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, a few freeway exits away from Dodger Stadium and a few thousand miles from the land of the Yankees. Despite the close proximity to the enemy, I grew up a hardcore fan of the Bronx Bombers thanks to my Yanks-crazed dad (the YCD), and only went to Dodger games to cheer for the visiting team and to attempt to swindle autographs from Tommy Lasorda (I have one... it says "I love you Mo". I'm disturbed even at the thought of it). I started Yankees Chick in October of 2005 as a hobby, and surprisingly enough a few people seem to dig it. When I'm not watching baseball, I fill my time with books, music, concerts, movies, scrabble, and entirely too much TV.
