Introduction | I was born and raised in England. For as long as I can remember I have loved creating things. I have to do art every day or I feel sad. I can’t specialize in one type of art like some do because I need to do it all, believe me I have tried to pick one thing; it is not going to happen. I am a self taught artist. I have done just about every type of craft there is. I love all types but making art dolls is the most rewarding. I have done full sculpted dolls out of oven baked clay but I love to do cloth painted dolls too. I have entered some of my work in doll shows and taken some first place ribbons which I am very proud of. I also do decorative painting on furniture and walls; my house has become a gigantic canvas to play with. I have so many ideas of things I want to try that it’s hard to keep myself on track and get things finished before starting the next project. It is always exciting to get started every day and see what will evolve. |
