About Me

By writing these poems, I hope to give others a chance to know Kerry E. Hanson, a woman who inspired those she met with her resilience, humor, and pluck as she faced tremendous challenge. Although she did not have a chance to write the story of her life as she had hoped, each of these poems opens with a quote from Kerry and narrates a different slice of time in her out-of-the-ordinary forty-four years.
