About Me

I am a middle-aged executive in a medical device company in the Princeton area. I have a wife and two children, two Springer Spaniels, two horses, and any number of other trappings of the affluent life in a college town in the northeast. I work long hours at a fascinating job in a very exciting company, try to do an acceptable percentage of the work around the house, play some meaningful role in the raising of the children, and still find time to exercise, read and blog. Accordingly, I watch very little television and under no circumstances do I golf. Why the name? I grew up in Iowa City and am a lifelong Hawkeye fan, even though I did not attend the University of Iowa. I went to college at Princeton University (1983), and law school at the University of Michigan (1986). But -- go figure -- I still cheer for Iowa over the Wolverines.
