| Introduction | I'm a happily married 47 year old with a 21-year-old daughter and a 19-year-old son. You can say we've been at it long enough to have learned a few things. There have been some pretty hard times over the years. But through all the pain and discouragement, we found the way how to still laugh and love and, most importantly, live. In the process, we have found peace that overrides it all. For the first time in my life, I can honestly say that I like who I am, or really who I am becoming. Aren't we all still a work in progress? Did I mention that I have been diagnosed with mental illness? And we've still managed to find happiness. We have chosen to dance in the rain. |
