I'm in my last semester of college, soon to graduate with a degree in (really!) Public History and the Applied History of Clothing and Needle Arts. This involves a great deal of making things up along the way, and using historical costuming blogs for research. Also over 100 library books to date. I use academic writing, informal writing, and actual construction to explore the clothing of the past and its relationships with people. Next up, a Master's degree in Public History. In what is laughingly referred to as my “free time,” I take up random crafts, cook delicious food, read voraciously, and watch a lot of British television streaming on Netflix.
