| Introduction | I am a music fan. I have been fortunate enough to make a living in the music business for the past 15 years, beginning while I was a finance student at the University of Georgia. I’ve worked for small and big labels and distributors and done just about everything from concert promotions, DJing, party & street promotions, A&R, marketing, product management, business development, etc. Since leaving the last label I worked for, I started Label Management Systems, LLC, to level the playing field with major record labels by offering indie labels business solutions to efficiently run their operations and manage their releases. I built software application for indies to manage their finances (Label Management Systems Financial Application) and put together a comprehensive set of interactive tools and information (Music Business Toolbox) for indie labels to manage their company infrastructure and releases.
