| Introduction | I started this blog in September 2008 to document my experience with a series of lawsuits. In 2006, my husband sued Impact Confections over a product he created and they produced without his consent. The case was dismissed because, without our knowledge, a Motion for Summary Judgment went unanswered. Through a series of misfortunes, we ended up representing ourselves. Without a lawyer, or “pro se”, we tried to get our case back on track and also filed a related Patent suit and Legal Malpractice claim. Those cases are now over. In late 2008, one of our former attorneys, discussed in this blog, sued me for defamation. I am fighting - in vain - for a fair chance to be heard by the court to defend my first amendment rights. This is my story. |
