| Introduction | Much of the work I am making now is deeply based in the process of memory. It is also a documentation of the culture. The figures in my paintings range from circus performers and punk rockers to anarchists and fellow artists. I use color and texture to depict memories caught midstream. I explore experiences that have poetic resonance as well as certain aspects of American culture that occupy a place in the collective psyche. |
