My passions are food, Paris and writing. A morning spent at the greenmarkets in NYC and San Francisco is my idea of excitement. Visiting Paris is my idea of heaven. And much of my writing is about food or Paris, or both. Oprah would be proud of me. I was born in Brooklyn, NY and continue to look at life through its special light. My first job was at Parents' magazine in Manhattan, where I met a woman who passed her passion for Paris on to me. I will be forever grateful. I freelanced for magazines and newspapers through my child-rearing years, then re-entered the work world as an editor in book publishing. I relocated to San Francisco three years ago, and have found my place in this young, vibrant city, though I am neither. I have two children, one on each coast; and four grandchildren, two on each coast. My mission is to make Foodies and Francophiles of them all. MY THREE CITIES: New York, Paris, and San Francisco are the three cities where I have been happiest in my life. Read more about them to the left. |
