About Me

I keep an on-again-off-again journal of Bayfield weather and local happenings. Some shorthand that I will use: Island, that means Madeline Island, the channel means the waters between Bayfield and Madeline Island. Between Madeline and Long Island (Bayfield, not New York) is the South Channel, and between Basswood and Madeline is the East Channel. If I have got that wrong, I would appreciate it if a sailor would enlighten me. I try to make an entry daily, but if I am traveling or something interferes I do not. As the seasons change I will note what leafs out, blooms or fruits, when, etc., to the best of my observational abilities.
