|Location||San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento, California, United States|
|Introduction||When you have only two pennies left in the world, buy a loaf of bread with one, and a lily with the other.
|Interests||Travel, my lovely friends and family, reading, Bento Box Lunch Collecting, Water Aerobics, Ocean Snorkeling, Webmastering, Found / Altered Art.|
|Favorite Movies||I'd have very eclectic choices but my sappy choices would be "Moonstruck", "Paint Your Wagon" (so beautifully captures the sodden rainy lonesome quality of living in a mining town [like I'd know] and Lee Marvin was just superb), for beautiful cinematography I'd pick "Days of Heaven" and "Out of Africa", anything by Studio Ghibli particularly "Spirited Away" and "My Neighbor Totoro" (but didn't care for Return of the Cat), for thought provoking I love most independent films as well as foreign language, I'm quite a big fan of documentaries, for sheer entertainment I think Quentin Tarentino's "Kill Bill" movies were just excellent (and I don't even like violent films).|
|Favorite Music||All the mix CDs my boyfriend lovingly makes for me. He writes titles on them which are not the songs or artists but rather how he thinks the "mood" of each CD is. For instance I have one called "Haunting Melodies"; one called "Lovey Dovey Stuff"; one called "Extreme Angst"; another called "Excellent Songwriters" and finally; one which is "Straight Gangsta Yo." He's a funny guy.|
|Favorite Books||Freakonomics, The Glass Castle, Falling Leaves by Adeline Yen Mah, The Liar's Club by Mary Karr, A Confederacy of Dunces, anything by Augusten Burroughs (Dry; Running with Scissors); and most recently enjoyed "Life of Pi."|
